MK and I went for a walk last weekend and stumbled upon the 7-11 turned Kwik-E-Mart right by the Space Needle, 3 blocks from our place. Yippee super fun. They’re in New York City; Chicago; Dallas; Denver; Burbank; Los Angeles; Henderson; Orlando; Mountain View; Seattle; and Bladensburg, Md.

It was cute to see all the kids having their parents take pictures and etc. We were on our way to the Bite of Seattle so we didn’t stop, and since they aren’t selling Duff Beer, well, the novelty was in the decoration.

The entire thing with the commercialization of the Simpsons has me wondering a little. Hasn’t anyone noticed that the show has a contains fair bit of biting satire on that exact topic?
That is definitely part of the charm for me! If only Green Day had done the soundtrack, hahaha.
Well…yeah. Hmm.
The whole thing reminds me of the trial cameras that were put up in Barcelona. Some funny bureaucrat managed to get the trial to take place in George Orwell square.
BTW – – – went and saw the movie last night, and lo and behold, Green Day started things off just to make me right. Although the movie was not as funny as I expected…
