Do I have to hide my pantry? I don’t think so, not as long as I keep it clean.
And especially when this is what I’m working with:
So we ripped the lame plastic fake wood doors down. I painted the trim and the inside support beams. And I like it. This color is my current favorite, I also painted both our railings/banisters with it (the dark grey/blue) and keep looking for what else we can use it on.
So yes, you see my cookbooks and the tons of coffee we drink, but I don’t mind.
I need floor mats/dish rags/oven mitt type accessories that match that color, keep an eye out for me.
Nah, doesn’t work for me. A pantry is where you throw all your munchies and preserves and unused appliances, etc. No one wants to see that!

ugh meant to go with book reading request, fail on my part.
Dadd – who has had preserves in the last 50 years?
Craig – ew.
Moira – that’s cool, thanks!
you honestly think an open pantry looks better?
Beaded curtains 😀
Quality. Now you’re talking. MK suggested a panel curtain like that for our LR closet, I almost slapped him!
Craig – we are thinking in the future to blow the wall out and have a hole that looks in to the living room, and moving the fridge too. So leaving it like this will hopefully be temporary and I can deal with that.
It’s a good thing you’re so skinny and don’t require lots of food in the house at any one time. 🙂 I’ve never seen such a pretty (empty) pantry.
I was going to suggest the hole in the wall thing – can’t wait to visit !
Hey – why are my posts being deleted?
What posts? I didn’t delete anything.
