Buying a house with three fireplaces doesn’t often lead to a house with NO fireplaces, but in our case, there was nothing we could do. Finally, in the middle of August, we decided to go ahead and order the living room a nice one. It got put in today. They guys from Alpine Gas Fireplaces did an amazing job, and husband was a good little helper too.

We’ve got the walls done, and the fire done, and are going to rock it in ourselves and build a mantle.
Help me pick what shade of rock to buy!

All six of those colors are really nice… are you ordering it online, or is there a store you can go to so you can see it in person and maybe bring home samples?
Just don’t make your decision based on the green paint… pick what you like the best, and change the paint if you don’t like how it all adds up.
We did look at samples. I’m trying to think of what will look good in any type of room if someone were to change it, it’s hard to decide!

I am thinking going lighter instead of darker, to keep the room bright and balanced…
