I went pretty much the same way when I drove from Austin to Alberta in October (sorry I didn’t get to visit). I agree with Amarillo, that place sucks, except for one thing. I took this awesome photo just west of it. :)

Denver I thought was gross. Sooo much pollution. I really liked Wyoming’s scenery, but not the animals that run out into the highway.
